The highly experienced HCVA team are drawn from senior positions inside and outside the industry. We are united in a desire to ensure the future of classic and historic vehicles and the freedom to continue to enjoy them.

  • Dale Keller

    Chief Executive Officer

    Dale's focus is on creating a strong relationship with the government, building the membership and working closely with current members to ensure the HCVA is focused on the core areas that matter most.

    Dale has joined us after a very successful twelve years as CEO for the trade association the Board of Airline Representatives, where he has worked closely with government and regulatory bodies as well as helping to build a thriving community.

    He has had a love of classic cars since his childhood in New Zealand and enjoys days out in his Alvis.

  • Shân Stokes

    HEAD OF OPERATIONS

    Shân has been involved with classic cars as an enthusiast for over 30 years, owning a collection over time that has included classic British and Eastern European vehicles and British sports cars.

    She has a background in classic car clubs, the wine industry and classic car auctions and brings her valuable administrative and business skills to help the development of the HCVA.

  • Dan Lawson

    PRESS & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

    Dan has a broad range of experience with running successful social media campaigns within the classic automotive sector and has responsibility for ensuring the effective distribution of HCVA messaging.

    Dan leads the social media function for Eagle E-Types in Sussex.

  • Paddy Coppinger

    Associate Director: HCVA Community

    Paddy has responsibility for the Community pillar within the HCVA and will be working with our existing and future members, supporters, strategic partners and wider stakeholders. 

    He is the Managing Director of White Horse Telecom in Berkshire and brings a wide range of valuable skills to the role as well as huge knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the world of classic cars.

We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring the survival of classic cars and the industries that support them against numerous challenges - including DVLA registration issues, the future of viable fuels, post-Brexit changes and unsuitable environmental legislation. We work to protect, preserve and celebrate this valuable heritage for the benefit of all.
