Heritage Matters Podcast episode #4 now live!

Firstly we’d like to thank everybody for the positive feedback on the first three episodes of the Heritage Matters Podcast!

In this fourth episode we chat to Richard West who has had an extremely interesting motorsport career and now heads up the events committee of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club.

Richard is full of fascinating stories and in this episode we focus on his motorsport days covering the World Rally Championship, Formula One and World Sportscar Championship throughout the 1980s and 90s. He has been fortunate enough to work with some of the greatest drivers of all time including Lauda, Prost, Senna and Schumacher.

Richard's Profile

A lifetime spent in the pursuit of excellence and high performance in motor sport and business has moulded Richard into a globally recognised professional speaker and high performance business coach.

For the past 17 years he has worked as a professional international keynote speaker for many of the world’s leading companies specialising in the subjects of Teamwork, Leadership and Change.

In the ultra competitive world of Formula 1 motor racing, he worked for the McLaren, Arrows and Williams Teams in senior commercial roles. He also held the role of main board Director of the TWR Jaguar Team, winners of the classic Le Mans and Daytona 24 hour races and latterly he was the overall Administrator of the British Touring Car Championship.

He has worked closely with racing greats such as Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher and in his career he has raised in excess of one hundred and sixty-five million dollars worth of sponsorship.

Richard is a Visiting Fellow of the Cranfield School of Management.
