Heritage Matters Podcast episode #2 now live!
Firstly we’d like to thank everybody for the positive feedback on the first episode of the Heritage Matters Podcast. If you’re yet to listen to that you can do so here.
For the second podcast episode we talk to StarterMotor about all things young people! For any of you that aren’t already familiar with them, StarterMotor is an excellent charity dedicated to putting young people behind the wheel of classic cars with an impressive ‘Drive-It-Fleet’ of classic cars that are free to borrow for Startermotor Ambassadors. They also host regular careers days at schools around the country to showcase the classic car industry as an excellent career option for young people.
We chat to Chief Executive Dave Withers about the reasons behind the creation of the charity and why they play such an important role for the future of the industry. We also speak to James Mabley, one of the original StarterMotor Ambassadors, to find out about some of the incredible experiences that he has taken part in with the charity.
We will be releasing a new podcast episode each month chatting to different guests who are all somewhat tied into the classic vehicle industry. We’ve got a wonderful list of people so please do tune in for the next episode next month!
The series is hosted by our very own Paddy Coppinger in conjunction with TORQUEfreely. Paddy is a lifelong classic car nut and over the years he’s been fortunate enough to meet some extremely interesting people through his love for cars. The podcast is all about connecting with some of these people and sharing their stories, and we’ve also got a few silly questions lined up to keep the guests on their toes…
