Farewell To Summer
Much has happened since our last newsletter, not least the passage of summer and slow onset of autumn, as the sun continues to shine.
It's been an active month or so for the team, as we've been busy meeting with MPs and Richard Holden, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Roads and Local Transport, as we welcome the launch of an independent review of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.

HCVA - The Month In Review
A lot has happened since our last newsletter and this month’s hopefully gives you a flavour of our activities and engagement across the industry and in each of our core pillars. Transport Committee Challenges Government Response To 'Fuelling The Future' Report
In light of the 2nd March Transport Committee report; Fuelling The Future, urging the Government to change its approach towards backing specific technology solutions to decarbonsise the UK's transport sector, or risk failing its targets for cutting emissions, HCVA Chair, David Meek has commented on behalf of the Alliance and those it gives voice to.

Today, we issued a press release confirming my recent appointment as the new Chair of the Board of HCVA, which follows our website post a few weeks ago outlining some of my background and experience. In the two months since joining the HCVA, I’ve spent considerable time with members, stakeholders, decision makers and prominent MPs, to appreciate the challenges and opportunities across the classic and historic vehicle sector.
