Heritage Matters Three

On Thursday 3rd October the HCVA hosted its third Heritage Matters Day where over 100 industry experts, business leaders and media gathered at the impressive facility of Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works for a day of progress updates, industry insights and engagement.

The theme was ‘A Historic Future’ and presentations included future ownership models, environmental neutrality in the workplace, insurance on electric conversions, employment law, maintaining electronics, sustainable fuels developments and an update from the DVLA. The day culminated with a fascinating tour of the facility and the extensive JLR Classic collection of vehicles.

A notable highlight was the strength of the trusted relationship that has been built between the HCVA and the DVLA as evident during the update on the Call for Evidence on how the DVLA treats historic vehicles from Dudley Ashford, DVLA Corporate Services.

These face-to-face engagement events, where we can update members and engage collaboratively on the future of our sector, form an important part of the HCVA mission. We hope to see you at the next event.
